A large medical group in Virginia selected mindSHIFT to manage the IT infrastructure for their four-location, 200-employee practice. Deficiencies in the configuration of their underlying IT infrastructure were causing performance problems with their Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management applications.
The medical group selected mindSHIFT to resolve the issues and take over the day-to-day management of 150 workstations and 12 servers, as well as the backup of all of their server data to mindSHIFT’s SAS 70 Type II-certified data center. The group selected mindSHIFT above four other vendors because of our reputation for quality and our flexible approach to working with their application vendors to optimize overall IT integration and performance.
Physicians Group Practice Now Fully Connected
mindSHIFT provides managed IT services for a small physicians practice group in Pennsylvania. After the practice implemented a new EMR application, they began having issues with wireless access, printing and connectivity. The physicians' group decided it was time to upgrade the support of their IT infrastructure and outsourced it to mindSHIFT.
Today, mindSHIFT manages the network, 12 PCs and 3 servers that run the accounting, EMR and Practice Management applications. The depth of mindSHIFTs resources and SAS 70 Type-II certification gave the practice the confidence to entrust their now mission-critical applications to mindSHIFT.
