Top Benefits of IBM i in the Cloud - Webinar

IBM i (a.k.a. AS/400 or iSeries) has a well-deserved reputation as one the most secure and reliable enterprise-level systems on the market. This same security and reliability is now available as a cloud offering.

While the IBM i is still a very desirable platform, mainly due to its reliability and extensive installed base, infrastructure and support considerations can be challenging. The cloud is an efficient and economical way to improve your IBM i high availability (HA), backup and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities, as well as to provide an alternative to hosting your own system.

Join Gene Frey and Nick Mattera from mindSHIFT Technologies, and Barry Kirksey of Vision Solutions for this free webinar and learn about the benefits of IBM i in the cloud.

During this webinar you will:

  • Discover which of IBM’s many system options is right for your organization—a dedicated system for larger-size organizations or a shared system specific to your processing power and capacity needs
  • Learn which HA options fit best with your environment and hear the latest developments on HA
  • Explore how a cloud solution can provide financial flexibility, reduced or eliminated licensing maintenance costs, and can lessen or eliminate your responsibility for hardware maintenance and system software licensing and maintenance
  • Review various cloud services and see which ones are right for your environment

Attend this webinar to discover how the cloud is an efficient and fast way to improve your IBM i high availability (HA), backup and disaster recovery (DR) capabilities.
