Paul Chisholm Ranked 26th Best-Performing CEO in the World

Harvard Business Review List Ranks Top 100 CEOs based on Long-Term Results

The Best-Performing CEOs in the World list, published in the January/February 2010 issue of Harvard University’s Harvard Business Review (HBR), ranks Apple® Inc.’s Steve Jobs in the top spot.
 
While most CEO lists focus on short-term performance, the HBR Best-Performing CEOs list is an objective look at who delivered the top results over the long term.

Shareholder return and changes in market value were the key criteria in the HBR study of nearly 2,000 CEOs at public companies worldwide. Mr. Chisholm delivered a whopping 1,923% total shareholder return (TSR) as President and CEO of COLT Telecom Group Limited® headquartered in London, England.

Under Mr. Chisholm’s leadership between 1996 and 2001, COLT became the largest and most successful European alternative carrier, renowned for its ability to provide voice, data, video and Internet services to Europe’s largest business customers. Mr. Chisholm grew the company from inception to over $1 billion in revenue, with operations in 29 cities in 10 countries.
