For a 17-office, 900-user law firm, mindSHIFT Legal Professional Services provided a comprehensive technology services renovation including migration of Novell-based servers and email to Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange along with the deployment of Windows XP workstation
The project, lasting approximately 8 months, comprehensively re-engineered the technology infrastructure with minimal disruption to business operations while preserving and migrating user data. In addition, the firm was able to improve user service quality and simplify desktop management via our implementation of Microsoft's System Management Server. mindSHIFT also provided detailed knowledge transfer sessions to assist the firm's technology staff in adapting to the new system.

Over 50,000 documents were migrated to the new environment over the course of two weeks.
In addition to the document management system, the firm's comprehensive technology services renovation included a secure, centrally managed desktop environment, a VoIP-enabled Cisco infrastructure design, and a remote access solution utilizing Terminal Services and Citrix software -- while meeting their strict budgetary requirements.
