Joel Altobello
Senior Director, Legal Professional Services

Joel Altobello, who directs mindSHIFT Legal Professional Services, was previously a Principal of Union Square Technology Group LLC, which was acquired by mindSHIFT in 2005.

Prior to founding Union Square, Mr. Altobello was Chief Financial Officer of LAN Systems, a national systems integrator, from 1991 through 1996. Mr. Altobello also served as Controller of IPC Information Systems, the leading provider of trading floor voice systems, from 1982 through 1990.

William H. Flynn
Senior Executive Officer, High-Volume SaaS

The former VP of Sales and Marketing for Collaboration Online, Limited Company, Bill Flynn has 20 years of senior sales and business management experience. He joined mindSHIFT in April 2008 when mindSHIFT acquired Collaboration Online. In previous VP of Sales positions at DirectoryM, LiveVault and Be Free, Mr. Flynn consistently grew company revenues by restructuring sales organizations and by successfully integrating direct sales, telesales and channel partners. Mr. Flynn also held various sales positions at Dragon Systems (now Nuance), Open Market and Alloy Computer Products.

Throughout his career, Mr. Flynn has demonstrated a strong ability to develop and establish new channels, manage product transitions, and develop innovative new programs that increase sales and profitability.

Edward Grubb
General Manager, Legal Managed Services

Ed Grubb joined mindSHIFT in 2007 when mindSHIFT acquired Network Alternatives, Inc., the company he co-founded and where he served as President. With more than 20 years of experience in computer-related sales, business development and management, Mr. Grubb was formerly President and CEO of ACS Legal Solutions. His career at ACS started when he joined The LAN Company, a legal-specific systems integrator which was acquired by ACS in 1997.  Initially in a sales position, and in subsequent positions as sales manager, Vice President of Sales and finally as President, Mr. Grubb was instrumental in the successful growth of the company from $3 million to $30 million in revenues.   

Before he joined The LAN Company/ACS in 1992, Mr. Grubb held sales and marketing positions at Syntrex Inc., NCR Corporation, Hewlett-Packard and IBM.

Patrick McCormick
Senior Director, Legal Managed Services

With more than 12 years experience in law firm management, Pat McCormick joined mindSHIFT in 2007 when mindSHIFT acquired the company he co-founded, Network Alternatives, Inc. As Vice President at NAI, he was responsible for managing the company’s business and financial matters, human resources and OASIS customer accounts.

Prior to co-founding NAI, Mr. McCormick was the Executive Director for 10 years at Jamieson, Moore, Peskin & Spicer, a Princeton-based law firm.  Before his law firm experience, Mr. McCormick was in executive management at a large Philadelphia-based non-profit organization.

Gagan Prakash
Senior Executive Director, Engineering

Gagan Prakash joined mindSHIFT in April 2008 as a result of the acquisition of Collaboration Online, which he co-founded. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, he enabled the company to grow its GroupSPARK and 123Together businesses to more than 40,000 seats.

Formerly, Mr. Prakash held numerous technology and software development leadership positions at IBM and GE Fanuc Automation. He was also the Product Director at LifetecNet, Inc., where he led the design and development of a scalable, enterprise-level software solution for collaborative supply chain management for the pharmaceutical industry.

Tyler Roye
Senior Executive Officer, Managed Hosting and e-Business Applications

Formerly the CEO and co-founder of Invision, which merged with mindSHIFT in September 2007, Tyler Roye led the company's strategic direction, incorporating the latest trends in information technologies into Invision's service offerings. Before co-founding Invision in 1994, he founded a successful business in the mobile communications industry that he sold in 1993. 

Mr. Roye is a founder and Vice Chairman of the Long Island Software and Technology Network (LISTnet) and has been an influential member of Long Island’s technology community since 1995. He is a recipient of the 2001 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Long Island Business News 40 under 40 awards.
