Paul W. Chisholm
Chief Executive Officer
Paul Chisholm is ranked the 26th best-performing CEO in the world by the prestigious Harvard Business Review. He has also been recognized as a leading managed services industry executive, named to the distinguished MSPmentor 250 list of the most influential executives in the industry for two years in a row.
Before Mr. Chisholm joined mindSHIFT in 2003, he was the President and CEO of COLT Telecom Group plc headquartered in London, England. Under Mr. Chisholm’s leadership the company became the largest and most successful European alternative carrier, renowned for its ability to provide voice, data, video and Internet services to Europe’s largest business customers. Mr. Chisholm grew the company from inception to over $1 billion in revenue, with operations in 29 cities in 10 countries. Total shareholder return during his tenure was a whopping 1,923%.
As vice president and general manager of Teleport Communications Boston, he led the startup to become the largest competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) in Boston and the first to be profitable.
Prior to Teleport, Mr. Chisholm held various technology, sales and management positions at New England Telephone, AT&T and Shawmut Bank.
He is on the Board of Directors of MegaPath Inc. and Cathedral High School in Boston. He is also on the Babson College Board of Trustees.
Mona Abutaleb
President and Chief Operating Officer
One of the leading managed services industry executives in the world, Mona Abutaleb was named to the MSPmentor 250 list as one of the most influential executives shaping the industry in 2009. As mindSHIFT's Executive VP of Operations in 2006, and as COO from 2007-2009, Ms. Abutaleb has utilized her unique blend of skills and expertise in operations, engineering, IT and customer service to drive mindSHIFT's rapid growth.
Prior to joining mindSHIFT, Ms. Abutaleb worked at Discovery Communications as the Executive VP of US New Media and Network Services. Before Discovery, Abutaleb flourished in her more than 18-year career with MCI—beginning as a traffic engineer with MCI in 1984, ending as the Senior VP of Planning and Engineering for WorldCom in 2002, and holding many senior positions with the conglomerate in the interim.
Just prior to leaving WorldCom, Ms. Abutaleb was responsible for all aspects of Global Network Planning, Network Engineering, Service Delivery, Network Systems Development and IT Operations.
Lawrence M. Ingeneri
Chief Financial Officer
Larry Ingeneri was the CFO of COLT Telecom Group plc from 1996 until 2002 and was instrumental in the company’s ability to execute its business strategy. He helped the company raise $6B in debt and equity financing to fund its aggressive expansion.
Mr. Ingeneri joined COLT prior to the IPO and managed the company’s successful public offering on both the London Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ. Prior to COLT, he worked at Salomon Brothers, Inc. as an investment banker.
