mindSHIFT Acquires Network Alternatives
Software-as-a-Service and Thin Client Solutions Extend mindSHIFT’s Portfolio of Fully Managed Desktops

mindSHIFT Technologies, a leading provider of managed IT services, VoIP, compliance and professional services, announced today the acquisition of Network Alternatives, Inc. (NAI), a Philadelphia-based provider of full-service technology solutions to small- and medium-sized enterprises in the legal and professional services markets. The acquisition of NAI extends mindSHIFT’s managed services portfolio to include software-as-a-service (SaaS) for fully managed desktops, and complements mindSHIFT’s Aspire services for law firms.

OASIS®, NAI’s flagship solution, runs all applications in a world-class data center and transparently streams them to end users via a dedicated connection. Based on Citrix application delivery, OASIS delivers fully managed and hosted desktops and end-user support. OASIS can support Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access), Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, as well as a large variety of software packages designed for use by law firms and other professional services organizations.
