mindSHIFT and Local Student Partner Up

Leading MSP Participates in National Job Shadow Day Program

mindSHIFT Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of managed IT infrastructure services for small and medium sized organizations (MSP), is pleased to host a local high school senior, as a part of The Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Job Shadow Day.

On Friday, March 12, 2004, the student from Chantilly Academy will shadow mindSHIFT’s technical teams in the Network Operations Center, Customer Care, and Integration Center, and spend time learning about mindSHIFT’s sales and marketing efforts. Throughout the day, the student will have the opportunity to see mindSHIFT technical engineers monitor and maintain the health of over 100 client networks, applications, and systems spanning 17 states, as well as observe Customer Care representatives provide remote desktop and phone support to a variety of clients.

The Job Shadow Day Program is sponsored locally by The Johns Hopkins University Advanced Summer Engineering Program for Pre-and Early College Student and the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), a well known and respected group in the high tech community. This year, approximately 117 students are partnered with 30 business, government, and nonprofit organizations throughout Northern Virginia. mindSHIFT is an active member of the NVTC and Rob DiRocco serves on the Board of Directors for the NVTC Foundation.
